My name is Sherri Rasmussen, and I am a placenta specialist with over 8 years of experience supporting mothers on their postpartum journey. I had the honor of working alongside Amanda Jaramillo, who founded Heaven Sent in 2008, and later became the sole owner, continuing the mission of maintaining high standards, healing, and support for new mothers.

My passion is helping people heal naturally using the herbs and wisdom God has provided for us. I believe deeply in the body’s innate ability to restore balance when it’s given the proper nourishment and care. My guiding philosophy is simple: Give the body what it needs, and it will heal itself.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, gardening, and working with herbs. Creating herbal products and being connected to nature brings me a lot of peace. I also love spending time with my family, which is truly what matters most to me.

I’m a proud dog mom to 3 rescue pups - Kody, Charlotte, and Rocket. I grew up in Texas but have spent most of my life in Arizona, where I’ve built a life I’m grateful for alongside my husband, Chad.

I’m blessed with 7 children and 13 grandchildren. Being a mother has been the most meaningful role of my life, and I’m incredibly proud of the family I’ve raised. Watching my children and grandchildren grow has been one of my greatest joys.

I became a placenta specialist after hearing inspiring stories from Amanda, the founder of Heaven Sent and also my daughter-in-law, about the incredible benefits of placenta encapsulation. Having experienced the emotional highs and lows of postpartum myself, I know how powerful natural healing can be and desire to educate and empower Mama’s to support their bodies during those precious first weeks.
